Judy Norsigian - Author and Co-Founder:
Our Bodies, Ourselves Judy Norsigian is a co-founder of Our Bodies Ourselves who also served as executive director of the organization from 2001 to 2015. An internationally renowned speaker and author on a range of women’s health concerns, her areas of focus include women and health care reform, abortion and contraception, childbirth (especially the role of midwifery), genetics and reproductive technologies, and drug and device safety. Judy has been an author and editor for each of the nine editions of Our Bodies, Ourselves," the organization's Landmark book on Sexuality and reproductive Health. |
Stephanie Brown - CEO Casa Myrna
Through her career, Stephanie Brown has fought for the eradication of domestic violence and advocacy for those who suffer from it. Stephanie's highly impressive bio includes a list of leading organizations who have benefitted from her leadership. Stephanie's roles in these organizations include: Assistant Commissioner for Policy, Program and External Relations for the MA Department of Transitional Assistance; Executive Director for Homes for Families; and Administrator for Domestic and Sexual Violence Intervention/Prevention Policy for the MA executive Office of Health and Human Services. Erica Brunner - Director of Development
NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts As Director of Development and Communications at NARAL, Erica works to ensure that all people in Massachusetts have access to the health care they need and deserve. Erica has dedicated her career to advocating for health care access at the international, national and local level with organizations like Health Care For All, Children's Hospital, and Health Volunteers Overseas. Katie Heimer - Women's Center Coordinator
The Cambridge Women's Center Katie Heimer's lead role in The Cambridge Women's Center is just one of the many positions she has held in service to women. Her civic-minded aspirations have landed her positions with Boston NOW, Harvard College Women's Center and, MEDA Multi-Service Eating Disorder Association. Our thanks go out to Katie for her role in pairing The Cambridge Women's Center with The Voices of We, and for her continued support for women in need. |
Jasmine Lopez - Director of Development RESPOND
Ms. Lopez brings experience in fundraising, community organizing, event coordination, and media relations to the Coordinator of Development and Communications role where she is charged with expanding the organization’s financial standing and increasing public visibility. Ms. Lopez began her career as a Community Organizer and Fund Developer for AmeriCorps VISTA in the community center of a diverse, low-income community in Rhode Island. |
Stephanie Lowitt - Assistant Director of Development
GLAD In addition to her position as Assistant Director of Development at GLAD, Stephanie was a Senior Development Officer for Combined Jewish Philanthropies. Her continued spirit of advocacy and change for social justice is also evident in her work with the North Shore Women's Center, Ganei Beantown: Boston Jewish Gardens, NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts, and the Board of GLSEN MA. Chelsea Norman - Policy and Operations Manager -
MassNOW While Chelsea's recent promotion with MassNOW is new, her expertise in helping women empower themselves is not. Chelsea's warm heart and fierce advocacy has benefited an array of organizations including NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts. Chelsea is a SheGives Research Fellow, has served in the Peace Corps as a Preventative Health and Environmental Extension Agent in Senegal, and is currently helping to draft progressive legislation around reproductive health. Kiki Zeldes - Content Manager - Our Bodies Ourselves
As Content Manager for Our Bodies Ourselves, Kiki Zeldes has been a member of the editorial board for multiple OBOS's publications including Our Bodies, Ourselves (2005); Our Bodies, Ourselves: Menopause (2006) and Our Bodies, Ourselves: Pregnancy and Birth (2008). Her place as senior editor for the celebrated 2011 edition of Our Bodies, Ourselves assures that the reliable information, wisdom, and guidance is imparted as successfully today as it was in it's consummately effectual first edition.
